PLAZA SERIES: Izela

Izela is a mix of folk, jazz, and progressive rock music. The group has a virtuosic repertoire that combines thousands of years of traditional music and unique instrumentation with contemporary jazz and Zappa-esque experimental rock.

Supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program and the Brand Associates.

Admission is free. Performances run 60 – 90 minutes without intermission.

Seating is limited and first come first served; no reserved seating.

The Plaza seats 75 – 90 people for a performance. Visitors are welcome to bring a chair or blanket and sit on the grassy hillsides in Brand Park.
