PLAZA SERIES: Alison Lewis Quintet

Alison and her dynamic quintet will re-imagine and recharge works by artists including Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Cole Porter, Rogers and Hammerstein, and the Beatles, as well as present several original numbers. Their sound is a combination of earthy, ethereal, soulful, and bold, and the audience is guaranteed to be taken on a most uplifting adventure. Alison has been described as, “a singer with a hauntingly beautiful voice who transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary with brilliant arrangements and vocal experimentation.” She recently released her debut solo album, Seven, to much national and international acclaim.
