The world of prints can be confusing, with many different printmaking processes and a specific vocabulary related to the creation of multiple images. Join Associates Board member Debra Burchett-Lere, who draws on her experience as an art historian, a past Director of Gemini G.E.L., the preeminent limited-edition publishing house in Los Angeles and former curator of the Litho Shop, Inc., the print studio for the renown abstract expressionist painter, Sam Francis, to address this broad-ranging topic.
Debra will be joined by a panel of local printmakers whose work can be seen in the current Brand 50 exhibition: Jayes Caitlin, Dorothy Randall Gray, and Larry Hughes. Together they will pull back the curtain on the limitless world of prints.
